North West-based Perch Group are one of the fastest growing and most ambitious debt purchase, collections, litigation and reconnection firms in the UK. They are on the search for a Treasury / Tax Manager to join their financeI function in Blackpool or Manchester (depending on location of candidate).

This is a key role reporting to the Group Financial Controller across several areas and projects and will play a key role in managing the forecasting of cash flow and debt leverage.

They will consider a Senior Analyst stepping up to Manager level, or a manager that wants to move across to a role that will involve many projects and process improvements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing the 6 months cashflow process, analysing variances and working with regions to support future accuracy
  • Managing with day to day funding requirements across the Group, to manage liquidity levels to sustain business operations
  • Working to implement and define tax and hedging strategies and policies
  • Management of cash compliance under FCA & SRA regulation
  • Working alongside team members to drive motivation and continuous improvement
  • Management of bank administration to include reviewing and approving payments and management of bank mandates
  • Supporting the business with any ad hoc projects
  • Offering advice to Finance business partners & Operations
  • Lead VAT, R&D and Tax projects working with the wider finance team to collate information.

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant Finance, Tax or Treasury qualification (ACT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - or currently studying towards
  • Minimum of 3 years experience
  • Practical experience of cash management whilst working in a similar role previously in an international business.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and analytical skills o Good at building relationships, a team player and an effective communicator

There is a salary between £45,000 to £55,000 (DOE) plus a lucrative company performance related bonus scheme and other excellent benefits.

The role will be hybrid with 2 to 3 days in the office and the rest remote. You can work from the Manchester or Blackpool office dependant on your location.
