Role: Production Operative

They are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operative to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of SMC and BMC materials for their diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Ensure the correct handling, mixing, and processing of raw materials
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company and customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Complete production documentation and reports as required
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
• Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• FLT License ideal
• Be able to work rotational shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10am (TOIL available)
